Thermodynamics fundamentals and energy efficiency for the separation and high-valued utilization of Fischer–Tropsch heavy oil

Abstract The development trend of Fischer–Tropsch (F–T) technology is to develop high value-added products. separation linear α -olefins with low cost an effective method. Nevertheless, the lack thermodynamic data and huge energy consumption are two main problems restricting process. key components (1-dodecene n -dodecane) in F–T product were measured. Wilson binary interaction parameters obtained. Next, one traditional distillation column sequence dividing wall (DWC) sequences designed separate heavy oil obtain narrow fractions different carbon numbers. Then, obtained C10 C12 simulated 1-decene 1-dodecene, respectively. There was a differential pressure thermal coupling When separating 95.0% purity 1-octene, direct DWC process coupled excellent combination, which can reduce by 33.1% (i.e., 11,286 kW) total annual 15.9% 3.96 × 10 6 $) compared distillation.
